Sound is different depends on the browser

Hello,
I've just installed Opera GX to test Twitch, WhatsApp and Discord integration.
But first thing I've noticed, is the Opera sound equalizer is different from Firefox.
With the same video, the sound quality seems lower with Opera GX than Firefox. Voices especially are more "further", less clear.
I also tried playing the same video with Edge or Chrome, and the sound is also different but still better than Opera.I didn't see any topic on this subject. Do you have any idea to solve this ?
Maybe with a equalizer add-on,Thanks !

I found something !
I'm using a Logitech G PRO X with a kind of 7.1 surround sound and when I disable it, it's way better. So Firefox doesn't handle surround sound the same way as Opera.

Hello, I don't have any idea of how to solve this in an effective way. But, it could be due to many factors, like the headphones (as you've posted), your PC configuration or the particular browser. From my experience, I can say the audio in Opera sounds lower and I have to increase the volume of my PC to almost 100. However, when I use my headphones (it's mark is Tritton), the audio it's better and I'm able to decrease it to 30. I think this is primarly because of my PC, but it's true that in Chrome the audio seems to be in a better quality (just a bit, though). I'd recommend you to configure the sound configuration of your PC, and try various options and variables.

@shanksns2 I noticed exactly the same problem .... but what made me wonder is that the quality of the videos is not as good as in other browsers. I really like opera but it needs to be upgraded to audio and video quality. let it be like firefox ... let the developers pay close attention to this
