Disable mouseover on tab cycler

I often have my mouse in the middle of the screen and when I do Ctrl-Tab, the mouse is over one of the other tab icons, so it ends up selecting the wrong tab.

Firefox does this much more sensibly by requiring the mouse to actually move from off the icon to over the icon for it to be highlighted. So if you push Ctrl-Tab and your mouse is already over another tab icon, even if you move it around over top of the icon, it won't highlight that tab; you need to move your mouse away from the icon and back on it. Would something like this be possible in Opera?
