Social Fixer for Facebook

@a1s1kht1r I know because I wrote all the code, and there is no code that does this! Did you install the official extension, or maybe get it from other malicious site? Lots of bad people try to impersonate the extension and put in bad stuff. The official extension definitely has no code that does this.

@a1s1kht1r then something else is going on and making it look like it's social Fixer. I literally write all the code in this extension and have for almost ten years. I have a totally clean reputation on the web. There is no way that this extension is posting to your account or doing anything malicious. I encourage you to look closer to find the real culprit.

@jackcford: Not soon enough. It'll already be one update behind when Opera approves 27.0 since the current version is now 27.1. I'm gonna get Tampermonkey and use the Userscript version instead.

27.0 was published on April 12. I submitted 27.1 on the same day and we are still waiting for approval and publication.

Are there problems with Opera or is it me? Social Fixer extension is downloaded and checked but can't get wrench to appear. Reloaded, re-installed, etc...!

Used this a decade ago when it was called better facebook. I used it until it got too challenging for the developer to keep up with updates on facebook's side. It is cool that it is back

Doesn't block sponsored ads. Install this other add-on to block Facebook ads
https://addons.opera.com/en/extensions/details/ad-blocker-for-facebooktm-app-video-images/
there is also a chrome version: https://chrome.google.com/webstore/detail/video-ad-blocker-for-face/cfelggdancjlfmekcfekjemffindioac
and firefox: https://addons.mozilla.org/en-US/firefox/addon/ad-blocker-for-facebook-app/

@A Former User said in Social Fixer for Facebook:
Hidden posts (posts marked as read) show a permanent line of text that the post is hidden & an option to ''unhide' it. This feature slows down the loading of a Facebook page & it makes it somewhat unpleasing to the eye.
F__KEDbook in general is unpleasing to the eye with all the fake rightwing crap on it.

Has stopped blocking sponsored ads about 3 weeks ago. FB has become unbearable as a result.

Good Time for everyone! While using this app I start to receive repeately such message using "Hide post" tool: "Temporarily hide this post (it may return on reload, as its Facebook post ID was not found)".
But looking through links on that posts the number called as "post ID" is exists. After deleting and reinstall of this extension such occasion appears again.
Is there is something wrong with my Opera browser (version 95.0.4635.90)?
