I installed opera-stable 75.0.3969.149 on Ubuntu 20.04 LTS (GNU/Linux 5.4.0-42-generic x86_64) together with chromium-codecs-ffmpeg-extra 89.0.4389.90-0ubuntu0.18.04.2 This combination of previous versions would let me play DRM video content just fine, Since April 10
i get the following error message :
DRM: KeySystem Access Denied! -- Key system access denied! Unsupported keySystem or supportedConfigurations.

Try open developer tools first, see what it says on console tab.

It looks like the latest opera has introduced some problematic code . As a test i installed a older version of opera and chromium-codecs-ffmpeg-extra

          ubuntu@ubuntu:~$ dpkg -l | grep opera-stable
          ii opera-stable 74.0.3911.218 amd64 Fast, secure, easy-to-use web browser
          ubuntu@ubuntu:~$ dpkg -l | grep chromium
ii chromium-codecs-ffmpeg-extra 87.0.4280.66-0ubuntu0.18.04.1 amd64 Extra ffmpeg codecs for the Chromium Browser
          ubuntu@ubuntu:~$

And the same website npo.nl plays all media perfectly.

Did you copy the libffmpeg.so to Opera lib folder, or just install the codec package ?
