Sidebar Messenger Extensions

Hello, Opera devs,
I regularly use the sidebar messengers and something I found quite off was that extensions do not work in these messengers.
I wanted to install an extension that hides the channel bar in discord, because it takes too much space from the chat, it worked perfectly on the website but when I opened the sidebar it did not work, so my suggestion is allowing extensions to work on sidebar messengers. My platform is macos and i'm using Opera GX.
