Graphical Glitches & Rendering Issues in Big Sur 11.0.1

Having a lot of slowdown and graphical issues after updating to Big Sur 11.0.1 on my Macbook Pro 13 (intel i5 2017).
Mainly occurs when I go fullscreen and scroll down a page. It will stutter heavily or when I go back to a tab after not using it for a minute or so, it will be a blank page. Refreshing it is the only way for the site to appear.
I can provide the GPU error report from Opera://GPU if an Opera team member is interested.
Updated Opera today to 72.0.3815.378, which didn't help. Tried Opera Beta and still have the same issue.

I have similar issue after going to Big Sur 11.0.1. Mine is a MacBook Pro 15 mid 2015. At 1st I thought it was one of the extensions, but the issue occur even without any extension active.
Opera Version:72.0.3815.378

I'm having a similar issue with Big Sur on an iMac (4 GHz Quad-Core Intel Core i7). I have the latest Opera version (72.0.3815.378). If I leave a tab for a second or two (e.g., when I open a new tab), it is blank when I return. If I wait for a while it will usually repopulate, but it can take 15 seconds or longer.

Same, I have a Macbook Air 2020 13in, running Big Sur 11.0.1.
Opera crashes often, leave tabs hanging, and certain sites are entirely broken.
Opera GX version: 71.0.3770.323

Same problems (but not specific to full screen) on Macbook Pro 16 2019, Big Sur 11.0.1 with Intel i9. Running latest stable Opera as of today (72.0.3815.378).

I updated to 72.0.3815.400 today, but the blank tab issue remains. I leave a tab and but when returning to the tab it is blank for 15 seconds or so. I never had the issue with prior versions of Opera, but that was before updating to Big Sur 11.01.

Still having these issues and it seems to be getting worse with a lot of unresponsive and blank tabs. Especially worse in fullscreen mode.
Anyone find any solutions or is it a Big Sur issue with Opera?

Same here. Macbook pro 16 2019 (Big Sur, i9, 8gb Radeon Pro 5500M).
Every now and then the display of the webpage freezes and I only see white. Opera does not freeze altogether; I can still change tabs etc.
The problem got Really worse when I connected an external monitor, opted for screen mirroring, and connected to a BigBlueButton meeting. It was basically unusable then; I had to switch to Safari for this.

Apparently this has been fixed in the newest developer version. Can anyone test it?

Interesting. Do you know approximately how long will this developer version take to roll out?

The developer version (74.0.3890.0) does appear to address the blank bookmark issue on my iMac (4 GHz Quad-Core Intel Core i7) | Big Sur 11.01 machine. Thanks for the heads up @nintendork07.

It seems to be working for me as well. Without a collection of bookmarks, it's difficult to test for the occasional breakdown of pop-down menus, but the occasional problem with Speed Dial being slow to show up also seems to be gone.

One thing I do notice, however, even with the update, is that some tabs that are streaming content stop streaming the content once I leave the tab for another tab. That wasn't the case before. For example, in the past I could listen to what was happening in a streaming forum tab while I looked at other tabs. Now, the second I leave the streaming forum tab, the forum stops streaming. I really need the tabs to keep streaming. (It does keep streaming Youtube tabs, even when I leave them, so I don't know what the difference is between the streaming forum tab and a streaming Youtube tab.) It does let me go to another application, however, and it will keep streaming, so it is just the tab switch that causes the issue.

Switching tabs causes a strange glitch where the contents of the new tab get covered up with a view of contents of the old tab. Only after a while the view gets fixed and the proper tab content is displayed. Sometimes it also happens to be covered up by some graphical artifacts like white squares covering most of the viewport.
This is very annoying and makes me want to ditch Opera browser and use Chrome instead (which works fine). -

Hello! I have a weird problem, after I switch from the start page to an already open tab, the tab displays a white screen (or black depending on the page design)

Same issue, already posted about here:
Fixed in developer version but they are sure taking their sweet time to backport it to the stable version

This is only occuring for me now in FULLSCREEN mode after the update, seems to be fixed in windowed mode. Bummer that I use fullscreen mode !!!
Here is some of the Opera://GPU error reports if any Opera team member stumbles upon it. I'm switching to Brave in the mean time until it's fixed in fullscreen mode.
