html5 form validation

I was developing a web app and my form wouldn't submit in opera 22.0.1471.5

It turns out it was an HTML5 URL form field which was requiring validation, but there was no message. Put it into Firefox, a nice pop up message.

I have verified that this does not work on this page:-

http://www.wufoo.com/html5/types/3-url.html

but it does work on this page:

http://www.the-art-of-web.com/html/html5-form-validation/

So it looks like a bug.

Yes, known and reported bug. And exists in Opera 22 Dev, too.
