"Press F11 to exit full screen mode" Thanks. As if we didn't know this.
This moronic notification pops up interfering with our ability to read the page for a few seconds. Is there any way of getting rid of this thing? As if we don't know we're in Fullscreen when there is no Menu or Address bar there. Brilliant. Who thinks of this stuff and why are they paid to work?
Surely there is a way of ridding ourselves of this abomination. -

@xium The answer is that there's no option to disable it. You can wish for the option in https://forums.opera.com/category/15/suggestions-and-feature-requests though.
But, the feature is part of Chromium that Opera's based on, so getting Chromium to provide an option would do the trick.
