Smooth Scrolling Just Doesn't Work

I am using Opera ver 70.0.3728.133. I have enabled the smooth scrolling flag and also installed the Logitech Smooth Scrolling extension from the Chrome Web Store. It just doesn't work. but in both Chrome and Edge smooth scrolling works a dream. I've tried lots of workarounds, enabling /disabling, etc. and also installed (and then uninstalled) the smooth scrolling extension available in Opera Addons ... but nothing works. Shame, as I like the browser and it would have been my default browser but I just can't use it with such choppy, jumpy scrolling. Any ideas?

@TufNut Hello, I don't know if it is related but I use a Logitech mouse and have no problems with scrolling. I am using Opera Version:70.0.3728.144 with Windows 2004 (their most recent update)
Perhaps try this link for Logitech: https://support.logi.com/hc/en-us/community/posts/360044074314-Logitech-Options-doesn-t-offer-Smooth-Scrolling-on-Opera-GX -

Thanks for that. I installed it and although it improved things somewhat there is still a bit of jerkiness with each scroll movement. I use Logitech Options software in support of my Logi Craft keyboard and MX Anywhere 2 mouse. I have smooth scrolling enabled in that application and the Chrome Web store Logi Smooth Scrolling extension installed on both Chrome and Edge browsers and the scrolling is buttery smooth. Just can't get the same results in Opera, having tried all sorts ...
