Opera Helper?

Opera Helper for Mac - What is it? I found a 2014 answer, but it is not in the Opera Task Manager. It is taking up resources - how necessary is it?

@clintbradford I wish I knew. I am on a Mac and this has suddenly started happening to me as well.
Not many programs open, then all of a sudden the fan goes mad and the Opera Helper uses most of my CPU.
Please if anyone knows how to uninstall this let us know. At present the only fix seems to be to uninstall, then reinstall Opera, but then I lose all my bookmarks and suchlike.
