Problem with Bookmarks Toolbar

I am using the latest version of Opera for Mac OS X Sierra. I am able to move, edit, and remove toolbar bookmarks just fine, but if there are too many, then the ones which cannot be seen cannot be managed at all. We know if there are too many bookmarks on the toolbar, then there is a dropdown to access the rest. Well, those remaining bookmarks cannot be edited, moved, or deleted. If I right click on one, then I just go to the page, whereas I would have options for the others. It seems I can edit my preferences through the Bookmarks manager but not through the dropdown area of the Bookmarks Toolbar.
