long start up time

With each new update (version 46.0.2597.37) the first dozen or so times that I start OPERA, it takes anywhere from 10-15 minutes for the browser to open. Looking at the task manager, I see maybe 3-4 instances, all with 0.0% CPU.
With this last update (6/30), it is now more than a dozen times since I have tried to start the browser, and on each occasion it has taken about 10 minutes to start up. I get it to start by waiting the 10-15 minutes, then try to open the program one more time - and it will finally open. (W-10, 64 bit)
Any suggestions? Thanks.
