Opera crashing constantly since windows 10 2004 update

Since this windows update the main opera browser has become unusable, it will crash within the first minute or so of opening, the GX browser works fine, so have been using that in the meantime.
Has anyone else experienced this?

Yep I have the exact same problem, about a minute or two after starting it just crashes and doesn't restart automatically as it usually does

I have the exact same issue here. I'm using GX in the meantime but Opera 68 keeps crashing every single minute, sometimes reopening itself. It worked fine yesterday, I turned down my computer by downloading the last Windows update and woke up installing it earlier this morning.

My PC failed to install this update, but today my Opera crashed multiple times in a row and I can't figure out why.

The day after the 2004 update I got another update "KB4552925 Cumulative Update for .NET Framework 3.5 and 4.8 for Windows 10 Version 2004" which I installed and today I haven't had a single crash. Not sure if that's what fixed it, but I believe this is the only thing that's changed since it stopped working.

Same problem, all Windows update installed, still crashing

Same, Error code is 0xc0000409 which is a buffer overflow
