Hello!!!!
I realized about 2/3 days ago that Opera is letting ads run on YouTube videos. Does anyone know what's going on? I haven't changed any settings. With that I am thinking about deactivating the default adblock and installing another "What I would not like, because I prefer native resources and for me the less it fires the better".
Is it something on the part of Opera people or is it a new method of circumventing the blockers that Google invented?Sorry my english

Same problem here. It may be just a coincidence - but this started happening here right after the latest window update (the one which added the new microsoft edge). Since that update - youtube shows adds on opera.
It's like this on all my pc's after latest ms update

You should check if you have any exceptions for ad blocking. Google is there by default.

About a week ago it started to me too. I searched and found that it might be a personalized test for we who are using AdBlock or similar.
According to the AdBlock team post, it do not happens when AdBlock is disabled (then you see all ads) or when open YouTube without logging in with AdBlock enabled. Tried and is true for me. Seems to be linked to the user account. However when I checked (few days ago) they did not replicate the issue so not workaround there yet. -

While google does own youtube, the url's are different. The ad blocker has always worked in the past. I too am having this issue. No settings have changed.

This is not Opera, is YouTube web page. It happens to me in Firefox too. I am forced to use Firefox for Youtube (Opera crashes my computer) and after I sign in in my Google account, it started to show those ads when adblock is on. If Adblock is disabled, they are gone but normal ads of the video.
