Opera saved passwords

Is any way to make opera Offer to save passwords on some site that it doesn't because a flashy login method or something.
I have a D-link dir-635 router and opera doesn't offer to save password on routers login page (i have a very long password
). Is there a way to manually introduce or modify a saved password? Why opera can't detect for some sites if there is a User/Password field in the page?
