Tab-specific VPN

I've just installed Opera to try it out and I'm really enjoying all the built-in functionality: ad-blocking, messaging and the fact that it doesn't by default auto play HTML5 video (the bane of every news site). The built-in VPN is also a good feature but what stops it from being a great feature is a lack of granularity in its control. It's either on for everything: all tabs, all workspaces, all windows (except private windows) or off for everything. I often need just one tab to run through a VPN whilst the rest I'd rather run without for faster download and responsiveness. I believe tab-level control of the VPN would be the best implementation route with one option being to offer the user the choice of turning it on or off for just the current tab, all tabs in the current workspace or all workspaces.
I hope you'll consider this suggestion. Thank you.

Currently if we turn off VPN on a particular tab it seems to be turning off the same for all the open tabs. I guess this would not be a preferred behavior as per UI itself. It should be tab specific setting instead of controlling the entire application.
