      Hi,

So I'm a newcomer to Opera, love the interface and really satisfied with it but I have one minor issue I'd like to fix.

Every time that I want to check my mails or use Youtube I have to relog. Opera won't let me stay connected to my Google account wich is quite annoying to be fair and I can't find how to fix it.

      Any suggestions ?

It's just supposed to work, but do you have turbo turned on or are you using Opera's built-in VPN? Any opera extensions installed?

I don't know what turbo is and I don't use any VPN, built-in or not. And no extensions installed.

I have "stay logged in" checked but still I have to connect manually every single time. And only on Opera, I use to run on Google Chrome and no problem here.

            (sorry for the double post)

And it actually does that with every account I have on any website (Netflix for exemple)

If you want to start with a fresh Opera profile to rule things out, you can try that.

Close down Opera. In Windows Explorer, delete or rename the "C:\Users\your_username\AppData\Roaming\Opera Software" and "C:\Users\your_username\AppData\local\Opera Software" folders. (Show hidden files if necessary)

Then, when you start Opera, it'll be like you just installed it. If things are still messed up with Opera, check the date, time, time zone and daylight savings time settings on your computer to make sure they're all correct.

Also, if you're using CCleaner or an app like it, make sure it's not deleting Opera's cookies.

Also, check to make sure your anti-virus isn't messing with Opera.

                1. Check your cookies settings, including on shutdown and exceptions. First things first.
                2. Also, if you're using CCleaner or an app like it, make sure it's not deleting Opera's cookies. Yup.
                3. Also, check to make sure your anti-virus isn't messing with Opera. Yup.

I actually installed first Opera a few days ago on my new computer, and the issue was there right away.

                  I don't use CCcleaner.

Checked Anti Virus and Firewall nothing should mess with Opera and the issue's still there.

I would uninstall Opera, delete its profile files and reinstall Opera just to rule out a botched installation/profile.

After that, I would still investigate something outside of Opera that might be interfering.

Did you try Chrome and others on this computer to make sure they work fine? You said they worked fine before, but maybe that was just on the other computer?

Check they task manager and kill all the opera processes and or restart your computer if you haven't. You could also clear the cache and cookies in Opera. Ctrl + H and then "Clear Browser History". Set "From the beginning of time" and at least clear cookies and cache.

You could also hit ctrl + shift + i to load the developer tools. Then, go to Applications -> Local Storage and see if there's anything nested under local storage for sites you're having problems with. If so, you could try deleting the settings for each of those sites.

Of course, starting with a new Opera profile would do all of that and more.

                        Right.

                        1. Try clearing your browsing data, especially the cookies. (Restart after.)
                        2. If the above didn't do, do the clean profile thingy - in the "FAQ" topic you'll find out how.
                        3. If the above didn't help, try a thorough uninstallation. Then check your file system - like for errors and vestiges - and try a new, clean install. From a trusted site of course. Make sure it installs properly.

                        Then some.

By the way, what is your anti-malware software? They do happen to mess with various applications' stuff...
