67.0.3575.137 update...Sync crashes

Ever since I updated to 67.0.3575.137, I cannot get Opera to sync with my mobile. It crashed last week, so I had to recover it and lost other speed dials in the bookmark saving area. I try to sign in to sync, and immediatley my CPU goes into uber high gear and opera stops responding. I depend on Opera acrossplkatforms and not being able to share bookmarks or pages this way is very disappointing.

I'd do a test first:
Download the Opera installer, launch it, click "options", set "install path" to a folder named "Opera Test" on your desktop, set "install for" to "standalone installation", uncheck "import data from default browser" and install.
In that Opera, log into sync and choose to only sync bookmarks. Does that Opera bring in bookmarks from your mobile Opera without problems?
