      Hi,
I recently started using opera and now i want to make it my main browser on all platforms. But i cant import my saved passwords from chrome.
I have tried using the import settings and bookmarks option. It imports the bookmarks but the passwords. I also tried using the flags but cant find PasswordImport in the opera://flags.

I have tried to import my Chrome passwords from Chrome several times but they just will not import. All my bookmarks do, but it is no use having all my sites available with no auto-fill passwords.
I know this topic has been covered before, but will somebody kindly describe how I can get these passwords nicely planted and available for auto-fill in Opera. Otherwise Opera is no use to me.
I had no trouble importing my Chrome passwords into Microsoft Edge. Went smoothly with no problems.

In Chrome, goto the URL chrome://settings/passwords. Click the 3 vertical dots to the right of "Saved passwords" and export your passwords to a csv file. Then, open the csv file in a text editor to confirm your usernames and passwords for sites are listed in there. If so, you have a good csv file.

In Opera, goto the URL opera://flags/#PasswordImport, enable password importing and restart Opera. Then, in Opera, goto the URL opera://settings/passwords, click the 3 vertical dots to the right of "saved passwords" and import the csv file. Then, you should be good to go.
