@l33t4opera Any plans to fix widevine on linux?.. it used to work after replacing libffmpeg.so with h264 support and some changes to the widevine_config.json that points to the correct chrome widevine path... but since 2 updates ago it stop working.. I don't see the point of having opera on linux with no posibility to watch netflix or listen to spotify,

Please Help!!

@zekemx As far as I am aware of, this is continuously being worked on, since different issues occur from time to time on that matter.
However, for various reasons (licensing of codecs, technical issues on different platforms, etc.), this is not so easy to solve it in every case.

To work around this, there are different solutions for various platforms. On Windows and Mac, the OS's decoding libraries are being used for playing non-DRM H264 video, and Widevine under a license from Google to download the component and automatically keep it up-to-date.

On the other hand on Linux, it's a little more complicated. They try to use Chrome's video decoding library and Widevine component, but the latter has not so nice way of keeping it up-to-date as on the other platforms. Because of that, there's other solution being worked on, however it may take time to make it work.
