on BBC live page, twitter pop ups don't work and unable to click on tabs

As discussed in title, when using the BBC live text services on android, it's unable to show the twitter pop ups embedded in the text and you are unable to change to the tabs embedded within. I've tried every setting and I can't see a way of getting this to work?
