Opera crashes when I type "e" or "t" in the url bar

Hello, I recently upgraded MacOS to Catalina 10.15.2. Since then, whenever I type the letters e or t into the url bar, Opera (version: 65) just crashes and needs to be restarted.
The same behavior was happening in Chrome (which is why I switched to Opera in the first place). I've seen other locked forum posts where they have the same issues with other letters, but nobody has answered with a solution yet.
Any ideas? Thanks!
