Streams and Videos lag whenever I interact with my other monitor.

I recently got a new 144hz monitor and I started using my old 60hz monitor and a secondary monitor. If I put a Twitch stream or a youtube video on the secondary monitor and start browsing on the main the stream freezes every now and than with a loud pop sound and resumes shortly after. I tried running a stream/video and both monitors at the same time and they are constantly freezing. Disabling hardware acceleration seems to fix this issue, but it causes other issues like higher cpu usage and lower performance.
