Green flickering lines on one monitor when Opera is open
-

For the past few months and versions of Opera x64 for Windows 10, I'm getting about five green, flickering lines across one of my three monitors, which are attached to my laptop through a USB-C dock. They appear about 1/8 the way down from the top of the screen.
They only appear when an Opera window is open on that screen, but not the other screens, and not with other programs. This makes me think it's an issue with Opera, not the hardware.
Thanks for the help, and let me know if I need to provide additional information beyond what's below:
I have already tried:
- Enabling/disabling hardware acceleration
- Forcing Opera to use my discrete Nvidia GPU (versus the integrated Intel 630 chip)
- Updating + reinstalling Opera.
- Updating all drivers for my laptop and dock
- Updating Windows regularly (stable channel)

Can you try with other Chromium-based browsers like Chrome, Chromium, Vivaldi, Brave and Chromium-based Edge to see if any of them do it also?

Try Opera Developer and Opera Beta from https://www.opera.com/download to see if they do the same thing.

@skennedy789 said in Green flickering lines on one monitor when Opera is open:
@burnout426 No issues with Chrome or Edge.
Could you try with Vivaldi too?

Try hooking up just the one problem monitor directly to see if you can still trigger the issue with Opera.

Hi have the same problem with my opera browser, it seems to trigger when I have more than one monitor connected to my laptop and playing videos on youtube or any video playing websites.
here a screenshot of my problem.
