seem to have lost the ability to see GIF's , updated adobe flash , all else works smoothly . Just wonder if any one else having same trouble , that just started yesterday . Thanx

This animated gif shows just fine for me and animates just fine.
Does that one not work for you?

Browsers support gifs themselves. Flash isn't needed, so that wouldn't help.
Links to ones that don't work for you? Opera version and Windows version and edition? Any extensions installed? Adblocker?

update ending 467.53 under security disable block adds and trackers and they will then magically appear . you also must download flash to watch movies on some channels as the Browser does not support it , why give wrong info if you do not know correct answer/s . have a riot watching channels here w/out downloading flash https://www.ivlog.tv/

Uhmm... @burnout426 isn't giving "wrong" information. Gif is a bitmap image format file type (much like any image file such as jpg or png) that can also provide some animation, but it does not require Flash for playback. You may indeed need Flash for videos on some sites (including ivlog), but those aren't gif files. Your original post referenced "the ability to see GIF's" - perhaps you meant "videos" instead? Likewise, if something on a website "magically appears" after disabling add/tracker blockers, it may be because what the site is providing is linked to ad or tracker sites or techniques.
