Cannot import passwords from Chrome, Firefox or .csv file

Hi, for some reason I cannot import passwords from Chrome, Firefox or a .csv file. Importing bookmarks, history and cookies works, but not passwords. While searching for a solution I found out that there is supposed to be a flag (opera://flags/#passwordimport) to enable importing passwords from a .csv file but I do not have that flag available. Is there any other way to import passwords? I am using the latest stable version of Opera (65.0.3467.42) on Windows 10 Education, build 19013.

@therealspoljo In Opera 65 the flag
opera://flags/#PasswordImport
has been removed. You can use the switch--enable-features=PasswordImport
, it works for now. -

See https://bugs.chromium.org/p/chromium/issues/detail?id=1017371#c6. The flag was removed from Chromium. Flags have expiration milestones and will be automatically removed when that time comes (even if there's no UI present for the feature it controls).
Also, see https://bugs.chromium.org/p/chromium/issues/detail?id=953690 if you want to track flag removal.

For now, you can turn on the
opera://flags/#temporary-unexpire-flags-m76
flag to get theopera://flags/#PasswordImport
flag back. -

I use a password program that makes the password for me. its a 128 bit password creator. I can use a 256 but my stuff doesn't need that level of encryption. It creates the password, names it and secures it for every program, application needing a password or key on my pc or web browsers. csv files can be corrupted. no need for them with a external password generator & safe.

@burnout426 This seems to work only in Opera 65. In Opera 66 dev, the old flags, although enabled, do not work. In the 80th chromium, the flag
chrome://flags/#temporary-unexpire-flags-m76
is removed. -
