Opera top bar theming

I had a question for the developers regarding the top bar theming.

Is there a reason for tying the non-windows 10 theme to the theme of windows explorer?
Is there any user method of modifying the windows 10 theme for opera to a color of choice without changing explorer?

Besides this one caveat, opera is by far my favorite browser and I have recommended it numerous times to my close friends and family.
