Speed Dial Tiles - I want to control their color

I really dislike the Speed Dial changing the colors of my tiles on a random basis, especially since the browser thinks purple is my favorite color... it is not. Yet, half my Speed Dial tiles are some shade of purple. I would love to be able to lock my Speed Dial tiles to a specific color.

My tiles also constantly change color, and it infuriates me already !!! I have been writing in support of this problem for a year now and constantly silence !!!!

Really? My tiles have not changed colour once. I have 3 white, 2 blue (different shades), one orange, and one green.
