Hi,
it will make about 2 weeks that I no longer can use Opera Mini on my blackberry. Version 7.1 was working properly, but when the new version was released and Blackbberry World told me to upgrade my version all my problems arrived. Opera mini 8.0 installs properly on my phone, but when i try to start it, my phone tells me Java.lang.nullpointer.exception. I tried also a clean install, i tried to download it via m.opera.com, via blackberry world and still the same problem. Can you give me at least the 7.1 version in order to continue to browsing with opera ?My blackberry is under OS 5

4.2.1 is by default so it doesn't work, 4.3 4.7 and 6.0 are the alternatives.

Hi Paul, my BlackBerry is 8520 OS 5, and Opera version 8 work flawlessly.. With One annoyance: now they also lock 2 more search engine: Fast&Cheap and Localized Wikipedia Indonesian (which I prefer in English!) -- besides that I don't have any problem with Opera Mini 8 in BlackBerry OS5

For Java.lang.nullpointer.exception case, try remove-and-reinsert the battery, freeing Application memory Space in your device, and closing any intensive background application.. if still not working: reloading aka re-install your BlackBerry OS.

I tried to pull out my battery after seeing the error. Unfortunately it doesn't work, tonight i'm gonna wipe my blackberry in order to have a clean OS and try again.

seems v8 isn't compatible with 8900 -- strange, because it worked fine with my lower grade 8520 OS5.
