So, you have an ad window pop up on Windows and when you click it (or automatically maybe) and it opens in Opera, it wipes out your Opera session?

You can look in the Last Session file with a text editor to see if the addresses for your tabs are there. If they're not, you're problem out of luck. You could look in your history in Opera and reopen them that way.
@aldoween said in a problem with my open tabs:

Still trying to get this straight.

Opera is open with your tabs.
-
A new Opera pop-up windows opens.
-
You close the main Opera window with your tabs and the only Opera window that remains is the pop-up window.
-
You close the pop-up window (which should then close Opera completely).
-
Opera automatically starts back up, but all your opened tabs are gone/closed.
Is that correct?

@burnout426 yes, I see Last Session file with a text editor - so new tabs and no have old.
You could look in your history in Opera and reopen them that way.
but problem is what if i don't see my tab and don't open it don't be in history. so it's not realistic to find tabs in history - I don't even remember which ones and when
but all your opened tabs are gone/closed
yes, is correct

:(. I think you're out of luck then. Best thing to do to prevent this from happening again is to use Session Buddy with Opera so that you can always restore your tabs if needed.
You can also right-click on a tab and choose to save all your tabs to a speed dial folder. Then, if this happens again, you can right-click the folder and choose to "open all in new tabs". You'll have to manually do this every once in a while and delete the old folder so that the folder is up to date, but it's something you can do. You can even back up your bookmarks and speed dials by using the export option on the bookmark manager page. This will back up that folder too.
Also, if you don't really have much that you have to save in Opera, I'd start with a new Opera profile just to make sure things are good. Goto the URL
opera://about
and take note of the profile path. Close down Opera and rename/delete your profile folder. Then Opera will create a new one when it starts. If you use Session Buddy, make sure to export your settings and sessions if it allows just in case you lose the extension due to a crash or something. Also, you can copy your whole profile to a safe place once and a while so that you at least have a backup.

By chance, did you modify Opera's shortcut to launcher.exe to pass --private to it so that Opera starts in private mode?
The reason I ask is that https://forums.opera.com/topic/26090/bug-private-start-with-command-line-ruins-tabs-list-in-normal might still be an issue.
Edit: I tested and that bug no longer seems to happen.

@aldoween If you have a "Last Session" file that has your opened tabs in it, you can try replacing the existing Last Session file with a copy of your backup. Don't know if it'll work. If it doesn't, you can try deleting the Current Session file, pasting a copy of your good Last Session file and renaming it "Current Session".
I thought you said before that you don't have a Last Session file that has your opened tabs in it? It's a little hard to tell as your English isn't coming out the best.

I open my file of Last Seccion with text redactor almost immediately after my old tabs are closed. but it didn't help and this file already contain information abou new tabs. I try recover this file too with special prog. but I didn't find it in the recovered files. I think that Opera could itself do backups of user tabs once a day or once a week automatically. and then it would be much easier to restore the tabs
