External bank app does not open

Has someone the solution that we can use external apps such as Rabo bankieren, YouTube .
Before the last update it was possible to make a "Ideal" payment from a webshop opent in the opera browser and then you will be forwarded to the Rabo bankieren app to make your payments. Now this isn't possible anymore. Other browsers doesn't have this problem.
I have seen in the reviews in Google play that there are more users have the same problem with different bank apps.Thank you in advance

Android version: 8.1.0, Motorola g5 plus, adblocker on

When will this problem solved. A little bit pity that there isn't a reaction off opera at all. I think more users have the same problem that there banking app not opens any more from opera.

@frans-bernadet Install this app. From then if you long press a link, Opera shows Share, a blue icon shows this app to share it with. Practice by sharing a YouTube hyperlink to this app. Then other applications must be manually configured. Sharing a YouTube link by long press on any hyperlink in Opera is best to learn with.

Remember in Opera use Share Link after long pressing any hyperlink. Any kind of hyperlink shared with this app can forward it to applications by choice.
E.g. forward share YouTube link to YouTube application instead of in browser, or sharing a link to openwith Google Play.

So because there is no answer or update off opera I have deleted the opera browser and install opera mini. Because In opera mini the external bank app opens directly so as has te be.
I am disappointed about the poor reaction off opera. I hope they add this option back to opera because it's one of the the best browsers.
Please let me know when this option is working again in opera

Same issue here. Cannot open the Rabo bankieren app. This may be a blocking issue for many users, as it makes it very inconvenient to use Opera for online shopping. Please fix it. It used to work, few months ago.

After the last update 11-11-2019 the external RABObank app opens now directly so as has te be.. So for now the problem is solved. And i hope that this doesn't happens again.

I know only enough to say quite often it is a Google or Android Webview problem.
Opera never changes their coding to make life difficult!
