Transfers window is slow to open and missing time remaining

The new transfers/downloads window is very slow to open. To reproduce, Press CTRL+J and notice it takes several seconds to load. In previous versions this was instantaneous. I have tried this on several machines and it takes around 3-5 seconds to load. Sometimes I have seen it take closer to 10 seconds. The only time it loads faster is if you already have the tab open. But when you close the tab and press CTRL+J again, it takes the same amount of time to load.

Additionally, downloads in progress no longer show the estimated time remaining. This is a very important piece of data. Note: time remaining is shown on the downloads panel that pops up when you press the transfers/downloads button on the top-right, but this same data is missing in the downloads tab.
