Opera browser auto logging out of websites when I log in.

Title says it, I downloaded the Opera browser and like it, but a good number of websites log out automatically as soon as I log in on the opera browser. Playstation's official website, for example, will log me in then immediately log me out. I have no idea what's causing this, I've already tried deleting cookies and cached files.

What settings in Opera have you changed? Have you installed any extensions? Using Opera's VPN? Is Opera Sync enabled?

@burnout426 I’ve turned on dark mode, and I’ve set my own wallpaper. Turned on the VPN, but I turned it off almost immediately as it slowed down the browser to a crawl. Only extension I have is Dissenter. But it’s done this since I downloaded Opera last month and these are the only changes I’ve made.

Download the Opera installer, launch it, click "options", set "install path" to a folder on your desktop, set "install for" to "standalone installation", uncheck "import data from default browser" and install. Test in that Opera (do not enable Opera Sync). Does it work fine there?

Does the page load after logging in, then automatically reloads to a logged out page?
Usually websites use cookies to manage active logins, so the cause for this is most likely something deleting the cookies as soon as you log in. Maybe check your maintenance programs like anti viruses or disk cleaners - they may be removing internet files too fast.

Yes, for a split second anyway. Like I'll log in, it'll show the page as though I'm logged in, then immediately refresh the page back to me being logged out. I've already checked the anti virus and dick cleaners, they aren't doing anything. And I've not changed cookie settings in Opera beyond clearing the cache and cookies to see if it helped. It's weird, it only does this on some websites, not on others.

@GrandBreaker
Yes that is very weird. Do you have any userscripts running that may have accidentally matched the sites that are affected?

Is the opera installer just the normal "download opera" link?

Yes.
