Google Photos Background Color Rendering Incorrectly

Since the new update to 40.0.2296.0 Opera is rendering the background of Google Photos incorrectly, when viewing individual photos or editing photos.

Instead of the black background which is shown in every other browser, Opera shows lite background, which makes it hard to see and use the Edit controls and it ruins the Google Photos experience.

Anyone else experiencing this, or have an idea how to fix it?
