Opera not saving passwords.

Opera has stopped asking to save passwords when I access a new site. All my previous log ins are still there and work just fine, but, any new site does not trigger the request to save log in data. Is there any way to FORCE opera to save my log in data?

@jackpot It's not an answer to your issue BUT rather an opinion. Just use a password manager like LastPass. It's safer in the long run and works like a charm.

@coffeelover
Thanks coffeelover, I finally got back to my post. It is really hard to find, I have to go through all the list to find my picture. I do not know how to search for my thread.
I do have last pass, but it has to be re-filled every time I open my browsers (Opera, Firefox, explorer). It is a pain in the keister to have to re-enter my log-in data every time I restart my browser.
Thanks for your reply.

@jackpot Check your preferences in LastPass. It should not be automatically logging you out each time you close your browser. As for this forum, when I'm done reading I click on "Mark ALL read" and that way when I re-open the forum only unread posts will occur. Also, the notifications should alert you to the threads in which you post. Check this feature out up near your profile picture.

Download the Opera installer, launch it, click "options", set "install path" to a folder on you desktop, set "install for" to "standalone installation". Uncheck "import data from default browser". Test in that Opera. Do not enable Opera Sync and do not install any extensions or user VPN or anything like that.
Does that Opera save passwords?
