I have recently tried using Opera as my default browser (alongside also using Safari [previous default], Chrome and Firefox) but for some reason I cannot fathom.. I cannot get the browser to behave like the others.
What I would like is : when I click on a URL, it opens Opera and loads the page in a foreground tab (just like all the other browsers do).
Not in a background tab, not in a background window hidden behind the default start page, or preferred home page or anything else.. just that page open in a tab - with no other blank windows or tabs open.
I cant seem to work out how to do this (very simple thing). I just want a clean browsing experience without a bunch of redundant tabs/windows open..Anyone have any tips to do this?
(Had to register an account and post to forum just to work this out - which is so far a strike against Opera in itself).. I'm trying hard to like it.. I really am.
