Space between bookmarks: 55 versus 56

Please, give us back the 55 version space...
This new design is ugly and takes huge space for nothing, except annoying me, of course!

I agree. For me, through these meaningless empty spaces, 2 tabs have hidden.
Another version of the next problems ...
My shortcut settings have also been reset.
And this is not the first time. from 54 to 55 also it was.

Same here,too much space,this could be put in settings section to be turned on/off. Also the hover effect for bookmarks bar icons is gone
