Hi,

I being using Opera broswer on android, PC since 2010 and i think it an amazing browser.
After using it at least ~4 hours every day on my android phone the Status + Nav bar is BURNING my screen.

Please add the [Fullscreen > Enabled] (w/ or w/o status bar) option just like the latest Opera Mini for android.

Thanks.

When you have Android 4.4 or higher, install GMD Immersive. This allows any app to use real full screen.
The only catch is that by default, all apps go to full screen, but you can switch it off on a per-app basis. And when it is full screen in Opera, the Keyboard does not work, but swiping from the right, disables full screen for a few seconds to allow popping up the keyboard. Then with the keyboard on you can type text.

Hi,

Thanks for your reply & suggestions.

But that only replace the Android status bar with a black bar and the Opera Nav/Menu bar is still there.

I'm currently using Samsung S5 + S7(my wife) and i really dont want the screen to have any 'Burn-in affect' especially the Opera Nav/Menu bar like what it done to my Samsung S2.

If they dont fix/add it soon I guess i have to switch to another browser like Dolphin which can do the real fullscreen browser + support flash too.

Thanks anyway.
