I had Opera installed and everything worked perfectly, after I upgraded my CPU, Motherboard, and RAM I reset my PC. When I reinstalled Opera I ran into a problem quite a lot. I had to redo my settings so I figured that would fix it, it did not.

Sometimes when opening a page it would take about 5 minutes to load along with any other pages I recently tried to open up. The ironic part is, whenever I would open up Microsoft Edge it would instantly load the Opera pages. Very weird indeed but I promise you it isn't coincidental because i'v fixed my pages not loading every time with this method, very annoying.

@reck829 I have a similar issue. I run Opera on a new installed Windows 10 computer and that works perfectly but on my laptop is very slow. I run both Firefox and Opera side by side and Firefox seems much smoother and much, much faster. Opera is frustrating to me, never ever had such an issue with a browser before. I really like Opera but if it isn't work I use Firefox, problem solved.

@reck829 i dunno if this will help..

try this - go to control panel - click Internet Options - click Connections tab - click LAN Settings button - Uncheck (Automatically detect settings) or it may be called (Detect automatically the configurations)

if its already un-checked no harm done..

Update: I tried installing opera in a new windows 10 user and there was no problem at all with the loading. So I cleaned my main user profile with ccleaner and this seemed to have solved the issue for me so far.
