Sadly, i never synced my opera bookmarks to any account
i had many.
i reset my laptop because it wasnt functioning but chose to not delete files
only to find opera was deleted. reinstalled opera and all my speed dials and bookmarks are gone
im confused on what to do ...

So, the folder Opera was installed to was deleted when you reset the laptop? If that is the case you are out of luck. Opera keeps a backup copy of your bookmarks in the profile folder named bookmarks.bak. If that file was deleted in the reset then that is it. Since you did not sync and you did not backup the file theres nothing else to be done.
