Remove Overlay (Grey background)

Hi everyone,
When I open a wallpaper for my speed dial page, I normally chose a white one with a picture, but the white is greyed out so that the white looks grey. It seems to have a grey overlay ... I checked the theme's persona.ini file and changed "overlay = true" to "overlay = false" but that didn't help ... does anyone know the solution ???
