Frequently freezing

I am experiencing random freezing of the browser several times a day. This can be at any time and on any website but it appears to happen more often when initially connecting to a website. Even closing the browser and reopening doesn't help and I have to wait for the notification saying Opera is closing before it will run again. I am using a Samsung Galaxy S7 Edge, on Android 7. Is this a known issue and when will it be fixed?

The same started to happen to me after an update. Usually, it happens after I start Opera and try to open a page. It freezes and I have to wait for a prompt to wait/kill the program. It starts to work normally after the restart. I'm using an old Xiaomi Note LTE with 2GB of ram.

I'm having freezing issues as well, but I'm on a Galaxy S8. It most often happens when an external app tries to call Opera to open a link, but it's also happened just tapping the Opera icon to bring up the browser manually.
