Lost Mac Opera 36 Tabs after relaunching how to retrieve tabs from "Last Session"

I closed Opera accidentally when trying to minimize and after reopening it I found my tabs were gone. I found a file called "Last Session" that contains my tabs but I cant import it into Opera. How can I restore my tabs with the file or at least extract the urls?

if you click on the little drop down menu in the far top right corner do you see recently closed tabs show up?
