@nvmjustagirl He already said that the problem was fixed by deactivating hardware-accelerated video decode. It has nothing to do with AV or firewalls.

@ocirnes lol He also said this This fix helped me, but what's the benefit of Hardware-accelerated video decode if lagging like that?
And it will effect on another websites like Vimeo if i kept it disabled?i'm sure he wants to keep Hardware-accelerated video decode... maybe he doesn't like a load on his GPU !
but i guess not you since ya got same problem... just because you gave up doesn't mean he will.. lol -

@nvmjustagirl Ha ha :face_with_stuck-out_tongue: I already discussed this topic with one of the devs. Trust me, the devs need to fix it, nothing the user can do here. With O51 everything is fine. And I can see several complaints regarding HWA issues in the desktop blog, so more than two people are affected. O52 is just buggy as hell.

@aii-s do ya still have this driver installed - GTX 960 2GB (Driver 384.76)..

@nvmjustagirl It has nothing to do with drivers, my sweetheart.
I am using an Intel HD 630 with latest driver installed for HWA, i.e. no NVIDIA. That means it can't be a driver issue, because aii-s uses a different card. -

but issue cause by hardware-accelerated video decode but they need to fix it so i can enable it again in future.@nvmjustagirl said in Youtube Freezing:

ya could Test a portable installation, but in another
directory, to test it as a clean install and check if
the problems still happens.. maybe then ya could re-enable Hardware Acceleration.. -

@nvmjustagirl I'll wait couple of updates and see it they fixed the issue with re-enable hardware acceleration

@aii-s Don't know if this will help at all but I had a game that continually froze as well and the cure was that I used CCleaner to clear internet cache and now all is fine. This may work with your problem
