"Plug-in blocked" seems to be causing issues... Need help.

Hi there,
I've been happily using Opera for some time now, it just updated to the next Beta version (53.0.2907.7 )and now, when I try to use "my orders" on Amazon, I get a grey box appear in the address bar that says "plug-in blocked" and Amazon asks me to login - even though I'm already logged in. I thought this an Amazon issue, but they don't seem to know anything about it.Then, the same thing happened when I was trying to complete an order for cinema tickets today - wouldn't complete and "plug-in blocked" appeared up top.
This may well be user error, but if anyone could suggest a fix that would be marvelous.

(I tried moving to the Alpha, but once installed, it crashes everytime I click on anything.)
