All bookmarks gone.

The latest update deleted every single one of my bookmarks.

Is there any way to retrieve them or are the just gone?

This is weak.

If you have an Opera Account and have synced Bookmarks, sign in! They will reappear in short order. If not, do it now, even if you have only 1 device because, at major updates, (50.0, 51.0, 52.0, etc,), Opera is cleanly reinstalled. Some customizations may remain, some may not.

I backup these 3 Files regularly. They can be reloaded if necessary.

@chrisf Metoo. Extensions all removed too.
I had a backup.

OT: are there hidden settings anywhere, for more fine grained changes?

eg. I wish to not have the page jump to the top when I click a tab.

Yeah I'm just going to switch browsers. I've been meaning to for a while. Thanks for the help though guys.
