Printing a PDF opened in browser is garbled using Opera's print dialogue

Opening and reading a PDF in Opera is fine. When I print to my Samsung 4020 Laser printer the output is garbled. If I select print using system dialogue, the output is correct. Used to work, but can't pinpoint which upgrade destroyed it.
Windows 10 1709 build 16299.125, latest opera.

If you have Chrome installed, does it happens with it too?

If the problem happens with Chrome, then it's a Chrome's problem - Opera uses the same engine -.
You can try playing with the options.

Test changing the options and saving to PDF to do not waste paper.

That invokes a different driver so testing is not valid.
Ouch!
Didn't thought on that.

just ask 'n what happens if ya did a plain ol' save pdf as a file to desktop.. Then open it look to see If it is garbled..
if not maybe ya could try printing with your printer to see if garbled..
work around be painful Lol until ya get things straight between opera and printer..
