Disable New Tab pop up in Operamini for Andriod

Does anyone know how to disable the annoying New tab popup that appears each and everything a new tab is opened in the background?!
I've tried to ignore it but it just blocks the buttons at the bottom. Sometimes it hangs there especially when Operamini freezes.Shouldn't it stop after prolonged app usage?!
If we don't use it, we don't need it. If we use it, we already know how it works. Period! -

I'm using Opera Beta v37 for Android with layout set to classic and new tabs set to open in the background and I don't see any pop up when I open a tab by long pressing a link and choosing open in new tab. I don't think the Beta or version matters but try those settings.

Ignore my last comment. While there's no popup in Opera Mobile, I just tried in Opera Mini and I see the popup and it is both annoying and pointless.
