Older Opera will not show a way to import html bookmarks?

Hello! I have a small IBM laptop XP. I know, a dinosaur. But I have my HP Windows 10 as the main. This little XP is running right well. Trimmed all the fat away. I settled on using an older Opera which I like, running right well even on my measly 3mbps.
It's version 11.11 and I can't see anyway to import an bookmarks.html. I really don't want to load another browser that will, just to export them to Opera.
How high a version could I go with this older XP and still work? I think the higher versions have options for html. In this one when I click on Favorites and look for a drop down for import/export it's not there. Neither, as one place said, is there a MORE TOOLS options. There's just no way .... is there? To import an HTML for bookmarks?
Thanks! jack ":-Dx

Try:
Menu > Settings > Import/export
Don't remember 11.11, but at least it exist on 12.16.

Thank you much! I'll see if I can download and run that. Sometimes these geriatric XP's can be finicky. Thanks again! Jack ":-Dx

@jepoore
12.18 is the last version of Presto Opera.
You may well find problems with some secure sites if you use an earlier version than that as it's the only version of Opera 12 with relatively recently updated security protocols.

You are correct. And big Thank You!! I think I found that with Facebook but if I loaded the mobile version it showed plenty enough to navigate Facebook, There's a couple of work arounds, however it's not my main pc. Only for some minor less important use in the kitchen and not my media room. ( lol ... my pc room ) I may have loosened up the firewall, or added it as a site to allow. Not sure. But I'd like to at least get the highest Opera version I can on the XP. Thanks again davehawley
The m.facebook is how I got there of course you know I'm sure!

By the way. Do either of you know anything about this? I found an old favorite saved from this forum that said you can download a chromium extension to Opera and load bookmarks?

@jepoore
That extension is only for Chromium-based Opera, so won't help on Opera 12.

I think it's the "Import Firefox Bookmarks" one that imports HTML. Don't remember if that's in 11.11 though.

It's certainly there in 12.18, and is asking for html files amongst other types, although modern versions of Firefox don't store their bookmarks like that of course. It's just a legacy thing I guess.

burnout and any others. Thanks so much. I did find a workaround for now. I loaded Friefox on my XP, (so I don't have to use it with it) don't want to with the memory hogging, but I did. It accepts Xmarks. ( wish I knew a way to stop all Firefox processes when I wansn't using it. hint hint) So then I save the Firefox bookmarks.html to the desktop and import it into Opera. It works. Although I have to go into manager on Opera and shift a lot around to get them in the order I want on the bookmark bar. There's this one option I think on a right click, it shows the top folder with a little arrow in it. Maybe this is where you right click and choose SHOW ON THE TOOLBAR. if you don't you'll get real frustrated. Found that out by trial and and error and error and error and then finally trial paid off.
Thanks to all! Better solution? Always glad to listen. Jack ":-Dx
