I have used Opera for years and years and have always really liked it but about a year ago I started needed to log into servers which have a server login dialogue box that pops up. It's not on a web page, it is a server dialog alert window thingamabob. I don't even know what those are called but I always called them dialogue boxes or alert windows.

For the longest time, only one browser would save the login credentials and that browser was firefox. Firefox does not seem to want to play nice with my Mac anymore. I'll spare you the details. Luckily now other browsers seem to save the passwords and Opera is saving the login credentials and I'm thrilled. The problem however is that Opera is not staying logged into them all for an entire browser session. As best I can tell it's staying logged into about 3 at a time and then making me log in (again) if I want to go to any more.

You may be wondering why I have such a strange requirement. I am viewing about 2 dozen CCTV cameras through HTTP that keeps cycling through the cameras so I need to stay logged in to more than just a few of them. And some pages are displaying more than one camera feed. If I am not logged in the feed will not display. It won't prompt me to log in, it just won't display and the nice thing about firefox is that I could load a webpage that had every camera feed on it and it would prompt me to log in to anything that wasn't logged in and it saves a bunch of time.

Even in Firefox, which has always been the most conducive to making this work, I would need to login again upon start up or restarting the computer and that is perfectly fine. What I'm trying to do is stay logged in to all 2 dozen of them for the duration of my session until I turn off or reboot the computer. And preferably be prompted to log in when the feeds are attempting to load on a separate web page.

Whew. That was a long one. Does anyone have any ideas?
